Experience in launching banking products for entrepreneurs, understanding how government services for businesses operate and ideas on how to utilise and integrate them with banking services will be invaluable. Personal entrepreneurial experience or working closely with entrepreneurs will be just as beneficial, along with knowledge of essential accounting and tax responsibilities for businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and launch the SME product in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Define product vision, strategy and roadmap based on market needs, regulatory requirements and business goals
- Ensure regulatory and compliance alignment of the product within the Vietnamese banking ecosystem
- Engage with external partners, vendors and integrations to enhance the SME banking product
- Gather and prioritise product requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs
- Work closely with the development team to define sprint tasks, backlog prioritisation and execution
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to create a seamless and intuitive customer experience
- Validate requirements with the development team, compliance, legal, risk and other stakeholders
- Maintain and update product documentation, including user stories, feature specifications and release notes
- Monitor and analyse product performance metrics (KPIs) and develop action plans for continuous improvement
- Lead go-to-market strategy, working with marketing, sales and customer support teams to ensure successful adoption
- Stay up to date with industry trends, customer needs and competitor offerings in SME banking in Vietnam
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of experience in the banking sector, SME segment, fintech or e-commerce with a strong focus on the Vietnamese market
- Proven experience in product development, ideally within the SME segment in financial services
- Deep understanding of the Vietnamese banking ecosystem, including local regulations, SME customer needs and competitive landscape
- Experience in creating and managing a product roadmap, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders
- Experience in writing technical specifications and product documentation
- Experience in developing business models and pricing strategies for SME banking products
- Hands-on experience in product analytics, data-driven decision-making and A/B testing
- Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile principles, working with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of customer experience in the banking sector (both online and offline), particularly in Vietnam
- Ability to build and manage relationships with both business and technical teams
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on performance metrics and product improvement
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of working with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience in partnership management and third-party integrations within the fintech and banking ecosystem
- Fluency in English and Vietnamese is mandatory
